The Först ST6P is the fastest, most aggressive and most robust machine in its class making it the best-selling 6” capacity petrol wheeled woodchipper in the UK and Europe.

At the heart of the machine is the industry-renowned FörstGrip feed roller system and Först flywheel system giving this machine unmatched performance in processing all types of material. The ST6P hosts the powerful and highly efficient Vanguard 40hp V-Twin petrol engine, a perfect match for the machine capacity making it a rapid-fire yet extremely fuel-efficient machine thanks to the electronic fuel injection (EFI) technology.

With a focus on quality and longevity, the ST6P uses the same chipping chamber, flywheel, feed roller system and hopper as its big brother, the ST6P HD, but has robust GRP panels, a shorter chassis and the much lighter petrol engine to bring it under the 750KG weight threshold for drivers without the B+E driver’s licence.

• Under 750kg: Sneaking in just below the 750Kg weight threshold means anyone can tow this machine with the standard car licence. We’ve maintained the strength and quality in the machine and running gear and have used robust GRP panels as well as the compact yet powerful engine to keep the weight down.
• Touch Button Controls: Different to the original Först feed controls, the latest system gives you one button for feed and the other for reverse. These buttons are fully water and vibration proof, they are built tough and sit snug to the side of the hopper.
• Clear Fuel Tank: Clear, easy fill, 30 litre fuel tank with large neck for all types of filling method.
• Autointelligence Control: A simple yet advanced electrical control system taking care of all the electrics on the machine. Historically electrics on plant and machinery are a troublesome – AutoIntelligence overcomes this with a completely water and vibration proof system designed and tested in the toughest environments. This system gives excellent usability and outstanding reliability, it will also make you aware when servicing is due and will recommend routine maintenance.
• 40hp V Twin Engine: Powerful and punchy engine perfect for the application and delivering an outstanding chipping performance. Thanks to EFI technology these engines use fuel on demand making it incredibly fuel-efficient. It comes standard with the 3-year warranty too.
• Variable Feed Roller Speed: You can alter the feed roller speed to make the job quicker, and to make it most effective for the type of timber you are chipping. It will go fast!
• Easy Access Anvil: It’s as important to have a good anvil as it is to have sharp blades. The anvil on our chippers can be turned, or replaced, in a matter of minutes. It couldn’t be simpler.
• FörstGrip Feedroller System: Twin hydraulic feed rollers with plenty of crushing power and climbing in an arc over the timber for maximum grip. These rollers are tensioned with twin heavy-duty springs and will break limbs and forks with ease.
• Robust Construction: Premium fabrications and a robust ‘C’ section chassis. We use more steel where it’s needed the most. All edges are folded and finished to a high standard.
